Tests - Gako Organic Farming Training Centre, Rwanda
The Gako Organic Farming Training Centre (GOFTC) close to Kigali, is a Rwandan NGO that trains famers in sustainable agriculture using organic farming practices. The GOFTC mission is to empower the farming communities to improve their living standards through appropriate, affordable and productive organic farming practices that promote environmental conservation for a healthy, progressive and united people.
Envirom Green Africa are fortunate to have the opportunity to cooperate with the GOFTC and have seen fantastic results on tests when applying our solutions on the crops they have grown. We have seen an increase in potato yield up to 27% compared to recommended fertilization in Rwanda. Soil and foliage application of Envirom CBX on beans increased the yield by up to 43% compared to the recommended fertilization. Significant effects on carrot and maize yield are also identified.
The tests were supervised by Agronomist Marthe Mukarugina, and conducted according to standard testing and reporting methods.
